T.E.Datum (Tippecanoe Electronic Datum) has been a business entity created and used used by Dan Kautz since the late nineteen sixties and is currently a registered DBA in Collin County, Texas as a sole proprietorship. It is the domain name used on the Internet for email. Tippecanoe was utilized because Dan liked the sound of the name and it is the street he lived on in Canfield, Ohio. Electronic because almost everything Dan does involves electronics. Datum because it is the base line from which everything is measured. So it fits most everything in which Dan is interested. Usually the name is abbreviated to just T.E.Datum.
